Dorothy joined our team in early 2023 as Program Director and comes to ReCARES as an experienced non-profit administrator, having worked primarily in the workforce and community development fields. She spent more than 20 years organizing stakeholders to build non-profits that provide needed programs and services to underserved parts of their communities.
Finding meaningful ways to reuse what might otherwise end up in landfills makes sense to her and mirrors her values. Another of her passions is exploring foods from other cultures. You might just find her during downtime sharing flavors of her native Louisiana with neighbors and friends.
